Xiaomi Mi Band 7 launched with 14-day battery life, bigger screen and more
Renowned consumer electronics manufacturer Xiaomi introduced its new Mi Band 7 and Mi Band 7 NFC fitness trackers to the company’s home market today. The new wearables were launched alongside the Redmi Note 11T Pro series of smartphones and the Redmi Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro TWS headphones. One of the brand’s most popular fitness trackers has launched with an improved design, a bigger screen and a few extra features. Specifications, features and price of the Xiaomi Mi Band 7
One thing the company has been working on that definitely stands out is display. The Mi Band 7 comes with a large 1.62-inch AMOLED display which is larger than the Band 6’s 1.56-inch screen. The brand has increased the screen size by almost 25%, which which will let users have a better experience. The band also supports Always-on-Display, which has been one of the most requested features. The Mi Band 7 user interface has been redesigned with new icons, animations and visuals.
As for the health and fitness related features, Mi Band 7 comes with a 24/7 heart rate monitor as well as an SpO2 monitor to support oxygen levels in the blood. There’s also a sleep tracking feature on the wearable with a detailed breakdown of deep and light sleep. Xiaomi’s new fitness tracker supports 120 sports modes including walking, running, cycling and more.
When it comes to battery life, the new Mi Band 7 has a 180mAh battery capable of lasting up to 14 days on a single charge. Other features include a 5ATM water resistance rating, smart notification, and multiple color options.
The Mi Band 7 was launched at a price of 239 CNY, which is around 2,800 rupees. The Mi Band 7 NFC version, on the other hand, has been priced at CNY 279 or around Rs 3,200. The fitness tracker will go on sale from May 31 in China and is expected to arrive in India in the coming months.
