Huawei Watch Fit Mini with up to 14 days of battery life, SpO2 sensor, 96 sports mode debuts

The Huawei Watch Fit Mini was silently launched in Europe on Monday. The new smartwatch is the latest addition to the Huawei Watch Fit series. The new Huawei Watch Fit Mini has a 1.47 inch AMOLED display and offers up to 96 sport modes. It can last up to 14 days with its 180mAh battery. Being a fitness band, the Huawei Watch Fit Mini has many health and fitness monitoring sensors such as blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), as well as stress and sleep tracking.

The new Huawei Watch Fit Mini is priced at 99 euros (around 8,600 rupees). The Huawei smartwatch was spotted on Amazon’s website in Germany and is currently listed as “out of stock.” It comes with a light gold color option for the body, while the bracelet comes in three color options – Frosty White, Mocha Brown, and Taro Purple. There is no information on when Huawei will launch the Watch Fit Mini in other markets.

As mentioned, the Huawei Watch Fit Mini sports a rectangular 1.47-inch AMOLED touchscreen (194×368 pixels) with a pixel density of 282 ppi. The screen is a bit smaller than that of the Huawei Watch Fit – launched in August 2020. The Huawei Watch Fit Mini has sensors to monitor health and fitness, including blood oxygen saturation (SpO2 ), 24/7 heart rate monitoring, TruSleep 2.0 sleep monitoring, and TruRelax stress monitoring. It can also follow the menstrual cycle

As a fitness group, it offers up to 96 sports modes including walking, cycling, rowing, archery, skiing, swimming, ball sports, etc. Sport modes keep track of a user’s heart rate, calories burned and more. The Huawei Watch Fit MIni can connect to a smartphone – via Bluetooth v5 BLE – running at least Android 6.0 or iOS 9.0. It can serve as a remote trigger, music controller, and receive notifications for calls with the ability to send instant responses while rejecting a call.

The Huawei Watch Fit Mini contains a 180 mAh battery which can be charged via the magnetic pod. Huawei mentions that the smartwatch can last up to 14 days on a single charge in moderate use and up to 10 days in heavy use. To control the smartwatch, it has a dial-shaped button on the right side. The Huawei laptop is waterproof up to 5ATM (50 meters).

The Huawei Watch Fit Mini’s built-in sensors include a 6-axis IMU sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, and optical heart rate sensor. It measures 51.2×25.91×11.04 mm and weighs 20 grams without the bracelet.
